What are some of the things that are possible with AI for the average consumer? To answer that question, I consulted with an AI (and added some of my own):

Google Maps: AI analyzes data to provide up-to-date information about traffic conditions and delays, helping users avoid congestion.

Face ID: Many smartphones now use AI-powered facial recognition technology to unlock the device

Chatbots: AI-powered chatbots are being used by businesses to handle routine customer service inquiries, such as delivery dates or order status. Question is: are they better or worse than grumpy humans? On that note, there's AI technology now available that takes a thick accent and changes it to a soothing accent free vocal on the other end, perfect for overseas customer support. We can all talk to each other without needing to learn any additional languages. Makes the world smaller and us more connected. But does it take away from the enjoyment of learning foreign languages?
