I always liked Michael Douglas as an actor. I loved “Romancing the Stone.” (I wonder if it still holds up.) He seems like a pretty good guy, all things considered. Cool that you got the chance to interview him.
How weird - my husband and I were just talking about him last night as my husband wasn’t sure if he was still married to ‘that welsh girl’ (she was quite well known in UK prior to meeting Michael Douglas 😂). This interview strikes me as something similar to interviews I have read with Roger Moore. Still a gentleman but aware of their mistakes. Not sure there are many of them left (in celebrity world I mean!).
Falling Down was my favorite film followed by War of the Roses.
Enjoyed this. It's his bad guy roles that have stayed with me. Not just Gekko but the adulterer in Fatal Attraction and the guy in Falling Down.
