Perhaps, it’s through media coverage. Or doom scrolling through trending topics on social media. Maybe you shower, leave the confines of your home and attempt to gather a sampling of sentiments from those around you IRL — like family, friends and peers. Perhaps you even risk talking to a stranger or two. I mean, they don’t really bite, do they?
